Description

De Brand ('The Fire') is a small-scale landscape with old forest and small meadows. Originally there was peat here, which was completely dug up around 1300 to burn. After that period De Brand was planted with oak forest and meadows were laid in the 20th century. The area is now an alternation of flowery meadows and moist forests. Many birds you can see here and very good for woodpeckers: črna žolna, veliki detel, srednji detel, mali detel, also kalin and other forest species.
