Description

Monte Polo is a hamlet near Urbino, located in a hilly area rich in crops and woods. Very panoramic and with good visibility to observe any flocks of migrating birds such as birds of prey, žerjav and more. Birds you can observe include planinski orel, sokol selec, navadna postovka, kanja, kačar, veliki detel, črnoglavka, siva pevka and sivi muhar.

Access

Monte Polo is located 11 km south of the town of Urbino. Press P on the map for directions. There are several hiking trails in the area around Monte Polo, but you can also view the area from the main road.
