A very nice pedestrian loop to observe the typical birds of the Venetian lagoon.
As well as being a pretty village, Lio Piccolo is the starting point for a dike loop where you can see waders on the mud flats, gulls posing on sticks and pritlikavi kormoran quite close. The northern part of the loop is most interesting for observing little waders such as spremenljivi prodnik on emerged mud flats.
The path is strictly pedestrian. You can also bring your bike, but you have to walk by. The car should be left out of the way; perhaps in the village square. There are toilets in the church building at the beginning of the route.
