Description
Reykhólar is a small village located in the Westfjords. It's known for its stunning natural beauty and rich bird life, making it a great destination for birding. The village is situated in a geothermally active area, which adds to its unique charm.
The sea closest to shore is very shallow and with a high tidal range. These conditions, combined with the marshes and ponds found inland create a perfect environment for a rich bird life.
