Park the car at the southern side of Skala Katerinis/ Olympiaki Akti and follow the beach southwards. Species that can be found here are veliki strnad, Prlivka and čebelar. Reaching the river mouth, species that can be expected are polojnik, kvakač, plevica, rjava čaplja, pritlikavi kormoran, črnoglavi galeb and zalivski galeb.
On the way back it might be worth to do a detour and follow the river upstream and after a while turn northwards.
