Description
Just south of Sigri beach, another part of the Petrified Forest park is located, called Plaka Park. Besides worth visiting to admire several huge fossilized tree trunks, the area is also home to several typical rocky landscape species, like turška kotorna, sredozemski kupčar and balkanski strnad. Somewhere in the area, južna postovka breeds and can be seen here often.
The park also offers a great view over the sea, and large flocks of sredozemski viharnik can be observed.
