Description

Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and sredozemski kupčar. Birds of prey include navadna postovka, južna postovka (especially at the acropolis), veliki skovik and rjasta kanja. Other birds you can encounter are čopasta čaplja, Prlivka, rjavoglavi srakoper, rdeca lastovka and mali prodnik.

Access

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
