Description

The Worringer Bruch is 164 hectares nature reserve with marshy lowlands in the far north of Cologne. It is an almost completely dried up meander of the Rhine. As large parts are difficult for people to access the Worringer Bruch offers shelter for some birds that are rare for Cologne. Birds that breed in the area are kobilar, Sršenar, rjavi lunj, lesna sova, mali ponirek, mali deževnik, črna žolna, slavec and kukavica.
