During spring and summer, common species that can be found at Saalbachniederung Bruchsal are veliki strnad, mali deževnik, priba, mali ponirek, kozica, repaljščica, črnoglavi muhar and rakar. Sometimes a rjava čaplja can be seen, čapljica breed since 2021, but often hard to see. In fall, migration is quite good for waders (August to mid October).
