Nature reserve Letter Bruch is of great importance as a breeding and foraging habitat for many meadow birds. About 3-5 pairs of veliki škurh breed here. Also a breeding ground for priba and prosnik. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are prepelica, jerebica, bela štorklja, rjavi lunj, čuk, rjavi srakoper, slavec, repaljščica and rumena pastirica.
