Description
The Fish Ponds offer a nice walk between the ponds. Much of the ponds are shielded by reedbeds with brkata sinica and plašica and other reedbed birds. The hides offer a look onto the water, where you might see kreheljc, čopasta črnica, kostanjevka , čopasti ponirek etc. Often there are belorepec in the trees around the ponds. There is a huge resting area for migrating žerjav just behind the ponds. That area is off limits, but huge amounts of žerjav flies over the ponds at the right time in autumn.

There is a small carpark at the entrance of the fish ponds at the edge of the village of Linum. Press P on the map for directions to the carpark.
