Description
Grube Cox has mixed forest with lakes and ponds. konopnica, sivka and veliki kormoran spend the winter on the lakes. carar can be seen in the poplars on the edges of the lake. In the forest, with a bit of luck, there are mali detel , srednji detel, dlesk and kalin.
In winter vinski drozg and pinoža can also be seen. At night you can see sloka, hear lesna sova call and very occasionally velika uharica. During migration I saw ribji orel hunt, but it is rare to observe them here. From a herpetological point of view, it is also worth a visit, as you can observe sand lizards, grass snakes and common midwife toad here.

Grube Cox is located between Bergisch Gladbach and Bensberg. You can park in the surrounding residential area. The circular route shown on the map is about 2 km.
