Description
Griesenbachwiesen is a wet meadow area along the Griesenbach stream. Over the years, a wet biotope has been created here. The area currently covers a size of about 7 hectare. Scottish Highland cattle graze here to create habitat for typical field and meadow species. Among the birds you can see here are repaljščica, prosnik, rumeni strnad, rjavi škarnik, šmarnica, priba, zelena žolna, rumena pastirica, drevesna cipa, poljski škrjanec and rjavi srakoper.
