Description

Baggersee Oegenbostel is a water-filled sand pit that provides a habitat for labod grbec, siva gos, nilska gos, zelenonoga tukalica, liska, mlakarica, čopasta črnica and mali ponirek. But numerous other bird species can also be observed in the area.

Access

Baggersee Oegenbostel is located directly south of the town of Oegenbostel. The best way to access the area is from the car park at the cemetery in Oegenbostel. Press P on the map for directions to the car park. Alternatively, you can take a circular walk along the geological path and visit the Brelingen gravel pit. If you are travelling by bike, you can also easily visit the Negenborn gravel pit.
