Description
The Baddeckenstedt Teiche are ponds that are located in the nature reserve Mittleres Innerstetal, about 6 km east of the Derneburg ponds. Numerous waterfowl breed here, including around 15 pairs of mali ponirek , 1-2 pairs of črnovrati ponirek and, for the first time in 2010, a pair of rjavovrati ponirek. Occasionally, čopasti ponirek also breed. In addition to mlakarica and labod grbec, čopasta črnica, sivka and konopnica are at home here.
