Description
The Aschau Lagune is a nice area for some mixed birding. The lagoon, beaches and offshore areas can hold many species of waterbirds. Most species of dabbling and diving ducks can be seen here and many geese rest on the meadows.
During winter a large population of njorka enter the bay daily to feed and can be observed together with loons and diving ducks when sea watching from the dunes.
