Island in the river Rhine near Oberwesel with a breeding colony of siva čaplja.
The 7 Jungfrauen Insel can be easily observed with binoculars from the B9 road. Despite the many ships and trains on both sides, many birds can be seen breeding there. siva čaplja breed here in spring and you can watch the breeding without disturbing the animals. There are many veliki kormoran drying their wings on the rocks. There are also various geese and ducks.
You can park directly on the B9 behind Oberwesel. This is also the best place to observe the birds. You are not allowed to enter the island itself, but it is only about 50 meters away. There is also a very good cycle path along the river.
