Description
Birding in Chachuna Managed Reserve is a rewarding experience due to its exceptional variety of habitats that support a rich avian diversity. Additionally, the nearby Dali Reservoir, surrounded by Tugai forests and sandy canyons, offers excellent opportunities to spot waterfowl like pritlikavi kormoran and tatarska žvižgavka, as well as the noisy frankolin and various interesting warblers and wheatears. Chachuna Managed Reserve is located in the east of Georgia, near the border with Azerbaijan, within the floodplains of the Iori River. About 100 km east of Tblisi. The area is best to enter from the town of Dedoplistskaro.
