The reserve is composed of several former gravel pits and good for birding with many bird hides.
Réserve de Cambounet-sur-le-Sor consists of several former gravel pits that attract plenty of waterbirds. There is also a siva čaplja colony. Nice birds you can see here are črni škarnik, kozica, vodomec, kreheljc and kvakač.
From Castres, N126 to Toulouse. From Toulouse, A68 and N126. Click on a P in the map to get directions to a parking place. The circular route around the reserve that is indicated on the map is about 2,7 km.
