Description
Rencloture Helluin is a dyke that protects a polder. On both sides reeds and ponds are numerous. At the end of the bay, the touristic railway of the Baie de Somme follow the dyke. The birds are within the reeds and the ponds on both sides. In spring you can see (and hear) modra taščica, brkata sinica, bičja trstnica, repnik, trstni cvrčalec and močvirska uharica.
Other birds you can observe in the area include velika bela čaplja, mala bela caplja, kravja čaplja, siva čaplja, bela štorklja, žličarka, travniška cipa, bela pastirica, rumena pastirica, trstni strnad, srpična trstnica, močvirska trstnica, svilnica, brškinka, kobiličar, liska, zelenonoga tukalica, Mokož, čopasti ponirek, mali ponirek, rjavi lunj, kanja, navadna postovka, duplinska kozarka, labod grbec, togotnik, polojnik and kukavica.

Rencloture Helluin is located between the villages of Morlay and Noyelles-sur-Mer on the Baie de Somme. You can park at the end of the little road to « gites des Salines ». Press P on the map for directions to the parking spot.

You can follow the path above the dyke. You can go until the rail track or even follow it a little further (on right) to see other ponds. The walking route shown on the map is about 2,5 km one way.
