Since its creation in 1966, Lac d'Orient has continued to evolve towards more naturalness. You can discover many migratory birds and see interesting birds like črna štorklja, dolgorepa raca, žerjav and rjava čaplja. In winter, you may have the chance to witness a hunting scene of the belorepec.

You can park near the observatory, click on the P in the map to get directions. Besides the observatory all around the lake, there are many coves that form observation points.
