Lake with two islands in the big city park Bois de Vincennes in Paris. Nice for observing urban birds.
Lac Daumesnil is a lake in the Bois de Vincennes, a big public park in Paris. The lake has a water surface area of 12 hectares and has two separate islands, the Île de Reuilly and the Île de Bercy, connected by bridges. All around the lake, a path allows you to walk along the banks of the lake. You can observe mostly common birds, but also a chance on less common birds like navadna čigra, vodomec, čopasta sinica, močvirska sinica, črnoglavka, rumenoglavi kraljicek and brglez.

Français: Le lac Daumesnil est situé dans le sud-ouest du bois de Vincennes. Il présente une superficie d'eau de 12 hectares et possède deux îles distinctes, l'île de Reuilly et l'île de Bercy, reliées par des ponts. Tout autour du lac, un chemin portant, le nom de « promenade Maurice-Boitel », permet aux piétons de parcourir les bords du plan d'eau.
Lake Daumesnil is located in the southwest of the Bois de Vincennes and easy accessible by public transport. For example by Metro: Line 1: Get off at Château de Vincennes or Porte Dorée. Line 8: Get off at Porte Dorée or Porte de Charenton.
