In La Grand Mar with a bit luck, you can spot up to 100 belolična čigra and maybe even a rjava komatna tekica. In the area, you can observe all the 7 heron species of the Camargue. There are also a lot of reeds, wich is good for rakar and srpična trstnica. The brškinka is singing nearly the whole year.

The La Grand Mar wetland is located 10 km southwest of Arles. The road is suitable for walking, cycling or driving. There are no problems with a wheelchair, or with a car. With the car you can stop on the side of the road, or you can drive slowly on the road.
