The 'green belt' is 5 km trail through different habitas in the natura 2000 area of Lac de Grandlieu. Many migratory species can be seen along the way.
The Coulée Verte (The Green Belt) runs along a stream, wet meadows a lake and reedbeds. Along the way it is easy to observe priba, siva čaplja, velika bela čaplja, mala bela caplja, kravja čaplja, kanja, zelenonoga tukalica, liska, kvakač. In winter, it is also possible to observe pairs of labod grbec. In the area it is also possible to observe rjava čaplja, sveti ibis, plevica, žličarka, rjavi lunj, črni škarnik.

You can explore the trail by bike or on foot. The green belt trail goes from La Chevrolière to Passay, leading directly to a panorama of the lake Lac de Grand-Lieu. NOTE: In winter, one of the areas of the green corridor is extremely muddy.
