This large pond is home to nice nesting species as tatarska žvižgavka, sivka, čopasta črnica, konopnica, bičja trstnica, rjava čaplja. In the surrounding bocage, rjavi srakoper, hribski škrjanec,močvirski lunj are also nesting.
In winter, the pond can be hosting kreheljc, sivka, čopasta črnica, žvižgavka and several vagrants. The place is also really great in times of migration with lots of passerines in the hedgerows and waterfowl on the pond.
