Entwined by the meander of the river Allier, the Pacage nature reserve covers just over 18 hectares. The area has a trail running along the edge.
The nature reserve of l'Etang du Pacage has an interpretive trail with two observatories. It allows walkers to discover parts of the pond, the alluvial forest and the open environments such as banks and meadows. A total of 126 bird species have been recorded in the reserve, including 49 breeding birds. Among the species that breed in the area are siva čaplja and črni škarnik. Other birds you can encounter are kvakač, kravja čaplja, mala bela caplja, kobilar, vodomec and ribji orel.

Français: Enlacé par le méandre de l’Allier dit de « Gondole », le site du Pacage s’étend sur un peu plus de 18 ha, la voie verte le parcoure en bordure. Un sentier d’interprétation doté de deux observatoires, permet aux promeneurs de découvrir une partie du tour de l’étang, la forêt alluviale et les milieux ouverts comme les berges, les prairies ou le plan d’eau, permettent à de nombreuses espèces d’oiseaux de s’y nourrir et de s’y reproduire. C’est notamment le cas du siva čaplja et du črni škarnik . Au total 126 espèces d’oiseaux y ont été répertoriées dont 49 nicheurs.
