Description

The Capbreton Casino Waterfront is an excellent seawatching spot during autumn migration. Especially during eastward incoming storms. ploskokljuni liskonožec, lopatasta govnačka, bodičasta govnačka, lastovičji galeb, veliki viharnik, črni viharnik, balearski viharnik, strakoš, viharni strakoš, črna čigra and polarna čigra are the target species when strong westerlies blow individuals to the beach.

Hossegor Lake is to check during autumn gales as viharni strakoš and other pelagic birds can seek shelter in the lake. The lake is also used as a roosting place for gulls in winter
