Description
Baie d'Yves is a major stopover and wintering site for waders, geese and gulls (komatni deževnik, črna prosenka, veliki prodnik, progastorepi kljunač, črnorepi kljunač, spremenljivi prodnik, peščenec, zelenonogi martinec, školjkarica, grivasta gos). The access to the beach makes it possible to approach the waders closely. Aim for a tide of at least 5,36 meters so that the waders are close enough when roosting at high tide. Stay on the beach, do not enter the Nature Reserve from the beach (restricted access). The Nature Reserve is accessible from the visitor center only, right next to the motorway.
