Description

Lupinlahti consists of two separate sea bays, Purholmanselä and Lupinlahti, which are separated from each other by the Lauttasalmi bridge. The site is important because of the many birds that rest and breed in the area. The bird observation tower built on the Lupinlahti bay is a nice and easy accessible spot for birdwatching. Among the birds you can observe are kaspijska čigra, labod pevec, rakar, bobnarica, zvonec, veliki žagar, žerjav, priba, rdečenogi martinec, mali galeb, škrjančar, rjavi lunj, ribji orel and belorepec
