Description
Sminge Sø or Lake Sminge. With its marshes and swampy reed vegetation, the lake attracts abundant birdlife, both as a breeding ground and a resting place for Nordic waterfowl. It shelters large flocks of labod pevec and siva gos in the winter. It is one of the few places in the Søhøjlandet with veliki slavec(in the thickets along the river a little south of the lake). Other birds you can expect are čopasti ponirek, rjavovrati ponirek, sivka, čopasta črnica, trstni strnad and rjavi lunj.
