Description
This area along the Vltava River is not a very beautiful place, but you can find some interesting birds there and there are many ducks and swans on this part of the river. mandarinka is common. Also common are čopasta črnica, mali ponirek, labod grbec, mlakarica, rečni galeb, vodomec, šmarnica and zelena žolna. In winter rumenonogi galeb and veliki kormoran are regulars. If you have a bit of luck, you can also find konopnica. In the winter, some rarer ducks like žličarica, žvižgavka, zvonec, veliki žagar or tatarska žvižgavka can be found there.

This area of the river is located 8 km south from the city center of Prague. Easy to reach from Prague by tram.
