Description
Very good mosaic of different habitats, providing suitable conditions for big variety of birds of different groups. The cliffs on the slopes provide nesting sites to the skalni brglez, črna štorklja, krokar and other. On the stony and bushy slopes turška kotorna, sredozemski kupčar, oljčni vrtnik, taščična penica, žametna penica and Svetlooka penica can be seen. kratkonogi skobec keeps to the tree belts along the river, where škrjančar can be observed, too. bela štorklja nests in the little hamlets in the area are nesting sites of the travniški vrabec.

Drive North from the village of Gorna Kula on the road 50909 and along the Krumovitsa River and explore the different parts of the valley till the village of Dolna Kula, where are the cliffs with most of the birds to be seen.
