Description

The reserve (called 'Baltata') is old natural forest next to Albena Resort and is good place to see pivka, zelena žolna, veliki detel, srednji detel, mali detel and sometimes - črna žolna, and other forest birds from the asphalt paths of the resort. The terrace of the tallest building of the resort (Dobrudzha Hotel) is an excellent watch point to observe the flow of migrating rožnati pelikan and almost all raptor species of Europe. mali muhar, pogorelček and other passerine birds cross the area during migration as well.
