Description
Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly mlakarica. Some other duck species can be seen like konopnica, dolgorepa raca and kreheljc. In the trees there are common birds like velika sinica, plavček and veliki detel. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see črnoglavka, ščinkavec and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see povodni kos and veliki žagar who nest nearby. Also other species like bela štorklja, siva čaplja and kanja.

You can park in the village and explore the area on foot. To explore the surrounding area further outside the city a car is necessary.
