A 60 hectare grazing block with wild horses. You can walk around freely and spot birds like mlinarček, veliki detel and rjava penica.
Reytmeersen is a freely accessible area along the river Bovenschelde. Two to three pair of kanja breed in the area every year. The various dead trees are nice for veliki detel, kratkoprsti plezalček and škorec. In the winter period you can enjoy the smaller warblers foraging in the various bushes: rumenoglavi kraljicek, rdečeglavi kraljiček, lišček and ščinkavec and in de summer you can find zelenec, mlinarček and rjava penica (breeding birds).

Nederlands: Reytmeersen is een 60 hectare groot begrazingsgebied met wilde paarden. Een vrij toegankelijk gebied langs de rivier de Bovenschelde. Jaarlijks broeden er twee tot drie paar kanja in het gebied. De verschillende dode bomen zijn leuk voor veliki detel, kratkoprsti plezalček en škorec. In de winterperiode kunt u genieten van de kleinere zangers die in de verschillende struiken foerageren: rumenoglavi kraljicek, rdečeglavi kraljiček, lišček en ščinkavec en in de zomer kun je er de broedvogels zelenec, mlinarček en rjava penica aantreffen.
Reytmeersen is located just north of Oudenaarde. You can park the vehicle on the public road "Voor Eine". Press P on the map for directions.
