Mixed forest with some old beech lanes. Woodpeckers like črna žolna and mali detel breed here as well as kragulj and other birds of prey. In spring you may experience a real concert of song birds: warblers, thrushes, tits, črnoglavi muhar and rumenoglavi kraljicek, while in winter, there's different species of finches and if you're lucky you may see an sloka hiding beneath the bushes or gulls, hribski škrjanec and prosnik on the surrounding fields.
