Description
Wyre Forest is a large woodland and forest measuring 26.34 square kilometres (10.17 sq mi) which straddles the borders of Worcestershire and Shropshire. Bird species to be found in the forest include glezg obyčajný, kolibiarik sykavý, krivonos smrekový, muchár sivý, králik zlatohlavý, muchárik čiernohlavý, žltochvost hôrny, hýľ obyčajný, ľabtuška hôrna, sova lesná, and three species of woodpecker, among many other woodland animals and plants.

Access
Wyre Forest is the largest woodland National Nature Reserve in England and can be found to the west of Birmingham, close to the town of Bewdley. On the southern side of Wyre Forest is a big parking (2 hours £4.00, up to 4 hours £5.00, All day £7.00) and a visitor cafe. Click on the P in the map for directions. There are several marked walking trails that start from the parking: for example the Giants Trail (3.1 km / 1.9 miles) or the Arboretum Trail (5.5 km / 3.2 miles). The suggested circular walk indicated on the map below is about 7 km (4,3 miles).
