Description
Witton Lakes are in the Stockland Green area of Birmingham. The two lakes are former drinking water reservoirs. The larger lake is used for boating and the smaller shallower lake is dedicated to wildlife. On the Northern side of the lakes is Witton Lakes Eco Hub, which has a cafe and toilets. The park has open grassland, wooded areas and wildflower meadows, numerous streams lead in and out of the lakes and a community orchard had been planted. The park has a very active friends group.

A number of different species of Gull (Laridae) have been seen including čajka sivá and unusually for such an inland site čajka trojprstá.
(*3), the area of trees at the Eastern end of the park has stehlík čížik and sýkorka uhliarka, mlynárka dlhochvostá, sýkorka belasá and sýkorka veľká are numerous. During Spring/Summer penica obyčajná, kolibiarik spevavý, kolibiarik čipčavý, penica čiernohlavá, belorítka obyčajná, lastovička obyčajná and dážďovník obyčajný can be seen. rybár riečny regularly turn up on passage.
