A short stroll along the steep cliffs, brings you close to the sula biela and the fulmar ľadový.
Troup Head is a grandiose, little frequented site. The high cliffs provide a spectacular setting for Scotland's largest mainland sula biela colony. There are also thousands of čajka trojprstá, norec tenkozobý and alka vrúbkozobá here, along with fulmar ľadový and several other species. In addition to having a beautiful panorama, you have an incredible view of the sula biela! A place out of time, be careful to keep your distance so as not to disturb the birds.
Troup Head is located 20 km west of Fraserburgh. There is a small car park. Press P on the map for directions. Provide change for the donation to the association managing the site (RSPB).
Be careful on the edge of the cliffs as it's so very slippery. Do not go there in wet weather or when it is windy. It is dangerous.
