Towneley Park is the largest park in Burnley with a total of 180 hectares of landscaped parkland and woodland surrounding Towneley Hall and Museum. Bird species to look out for include the ďateľ veľký, brhlík obyčajný, sojka obyčajná, jastrab krahulec, stehlík obyčajný, holub hrivnák and sova lesná.
Towneley Park is located 1.5 miles south east of Burnley town centre. Main entrance to Towneley Park is off Todmorden Road, Burnley. The park is open year-round and has free entry. Multiple pay and display car parks are available. Press P on the map for directions.
By Bus: Burnley to Todmorden, Bus 592 leaves Burnley bus station, and stops near the Hanbrig park entrance. Causeway End or Barwise bus stops give shorter access to Towneley Hall.
