Description

Tentsmuir Forest National Nature Reserve provides a variety of wildlife. The area has woods, mud and sand estuary, heath and sand dunes. Grey seals float effortlessly on their backs upriver on a rising tide, only their rounded noses showing above water. In September/October waders are varied (up to 13 species though not numerous). ľadovka dĺhochvostá, chochlačka morská, kajka morská, hlaholka severská and turpan čierny offshore. sluka hôrna, králik zlatohlavý and krivonos smrekový in the woods. pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý, pŕhľaviar červenkastý, skaliarik sivý and ľabtuška lúčna on the dunes.
