The Ridgeway is a prehistoric track and national long distance path. Upland area rising to 800 feet which is good for wintering passerine flocks and raptors.

Description

On the Ridgeway, flocks of strnádka lúčna, strnádka obyčajná, škovránok poľný ľabtuška lúčna, stehlík hnedkavý, pinka severská (ikavec), stehlík čížik, kulík zlatý, drozd červenkavý and drozd čvíkota may be seen in winter. skaliarik sivý and pŕhľaviar červenkastý are passage migrants. Occasional jarabica poľná and hare. Raptors such as sokol sťahovavý, sokol myšiar (pustovka), kaňa sivá, haja červená, myšiarka močiarna, sokol kobec and sokol lastovičiar.
