A lake with shallow fringes surrounded by trees. Overwintering birds include chochlačka sivá, kačica chripľavka and močiarnica mekotavá.
Loddon Nature Reserve entails a lake with surrounding trees, familiar to anyone who has visited nearby Dinton Pastures. A path circles the lake and connects with a route to Dinton Pastures along the Loddon river, making the area perfect for birding.
On the lake expect to see labuť veľká, chochlačka vrkočatá, kačica lyžičiarka and hus divá. In the shallows look out for kačička mandarínska and sliepočka vodná. This is also a good site for seeing woodland birds including ďateľ veľký, kôrovník dlhoprstý and sojka obyčajná.
Park in Twyford car park 250 metres from the nature reserve. Take High Street west from town centre for 200 m to nature reserve entrance at the rear of the Waggon and Horses pub. The area is flat and partly flooded in winter with muddy, short slopes.
