Large freshwater loch in the mountainous western highlands, with 30 forested islands where potáplica malá and potáplica stredná breed on the shoreline.

There are several parking spots along the main road. The site is 60 miles west of Inverness and 105 miles north of Fort William. Boat trips available from the Maree Hotel.
