Local nature reserve between fast flowing upper reaches of the river Severn and disused railway line. Woods, farmland, shingle and open water.
At Llandinam Gravels upland birds can be seen such as vodnár potočný, trasochvost horský, drozd kolohrivec, Snehuľa kapcavá, pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý, skaliarik sivý, kulík zlatý and hvizdák veľký. Exposed shingle banks encourage kulík riečný, kalužiačik malý and lastúrničiar strakatý to breed.
Take a minor road south from Caersws, which is between Machynlleth and Montgomery. Postcode SY17 5AU. On entering the reserve, car park is at far end of derelict railway track.
