Description

Caswell Bay is a coastal area on the south east of the Gower Peninsula. You can walk along the coast and cliffs. The Bishop's Wood nature reserve sits behind the bay, a rare example of a limestone woodland. You can see many different birds in and around the bay. In the skies look out for the rare čavka červenozobá. Other relatively rare birds are sokol sťahovavý and krkavec čierny, and you may also see (or hear) žlna zelená, škovránok poľný, myšiak hôrny, stehlík obyčajný, hýľ obyčajný and pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý. Other birds you can encounter are kačica chrapka, kukučka obyčajná, dážďovník obyčajný and lastúrničiar strakatý.
