Description

This important upper part of the Axe Estuary has mudflats, saltmarsh and larger areas of brackish water that can flood at high spring tides. It has a number of hides.

Access

Seaton is a seaside town in South East Devon, to the North of here is Colyford on the A3052, from here head South along Colyford Road, just after leaving Colyford there is a small pull in on the left with limited parking, for further parking head South on same road until you reach Seaton Town Cemetery on the left, that has a larger car park that gains you access to the marshes. Failing that use Harbour Road Car Park in Seaton and walk North past Seaton Marshes on footpaths and roads.
