Description
Sandemars Naturreservat is a 390-hectare nature reserve with wide beach meadows. In the middle lies the castle Sandemar. A great point for watching birds is the observation tower near the coast. All year round, various bird species can be observed from this spot. For example orliak morský, potápač prostredný, hlaholka severská, čegrava veľkozobá, škovránok poľný, strnádka obyčajná, kulík piesočný, kalužiak sivý, kalužiak močiarny or bojovník bahenný. In winter labuť spevavá, ľadovka dĺhochvostá, potápač malý, potápač veľký and flocks of chochlačka vrkočatá swim in the water between the islands of the archipelago.
