Nature reserve between the Öland ring road and the southernmost bird station. Large forest area, with watchtower over the large Schäferiängarna.
Before driving on to the bird station, which is located on the southernmost point of the island of Öland, a stop in Ottenby Lund Nature Reserve is worthwhile. vlha obyčajná is an annual visitor. There are 2 parking spaces, Södra and Norra Parking. The area is fine for exploring on foot. There is a very high bird watch tower. Of course there is a lot of birdlife to see in the forest, but also along the edge you have a lookout over a large wetland (in winter), a large dry plain in summer. Ideal for birds of prey such as sokol lastovičiar and sokol sťahovavý. The route shown on the map is about 5 km long.
