Description
In and around Leonardsberg 233 bird species have been recorded. During the spring migration the area is an important resting ground for migrating geese like Hus siatinná, hus bieločelá and hus tundrová who sometimes rest in large amounts. The shallow lake also attracts large amounts of dabblings ducks. The coastal meadows also hold large amounts of waders especially during autumn. The fields around Leonardsberg often hold large flocks of doves, thrushes, and finches in the autumn, among these ľabtuška červenohrdlá and ostrohárka severská are often found.
There is a large colony of čajka smejivá next to Leonardsberg holding hundreds of gulls. From Leonardsberg you can sometimes get a good view of migrating birds of prey and migrating passerine birds. Large amounts of holub hrivnák and myšiak hôrny are sometimes seen.

Access
Leonardsberg is next to the city of Norrköping and is quite easily accessible from the city. The area has a parking and a bird observation tower. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking.
